A village crockery company is giving people the chance to make their wedding day extra special by telling them about their romantic proposals today (February 14).

Village Green Vintage, based in Little Bradley, if offering the chance for newly betrothed couples to win the free hire of vintage china – worth £250 – if they get involved on Valentine’s Day.

To be in with a shot of scooping the prize, brides-to-be need to visit the company’s website – www.villagegreenvintage.co.uk – and there say in no more than 20 words why they should win using the firm’s online contact form.

Julia Pasfield, owner of Village Green Vintage, said: “Romance is in the air this week at Village Green Vintage and to celebrate I’d love to offer one lucky couple vintage china hire to use on their special day.

“The big ticket purchases for a wedding can mount up but vintage china is a finishing touch that can help a couple’s day be unique and stylish.”

Entries close on February 28.

Village Green Vintage is a new venture offering bespoke vintage china hire service for all occasions.

Describing her business, Julia said: “I have always loved collecting (some would say hoarding!) pretty pieces of china, purely for my own amusement but I decided to share it with others to give any event, large or small an air of vintage charm.

“I offer a very personal service as I know every event is unique, and prices to suit all budgets – something I’m very much aware of as I’m currently helping to plan my daughter’s wedding.”
