Did you see fatal collision with horses on A14?
Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision, which happened on the A14 at Sproughton onon Christmas Eve are renewing their appeal for information.
Officers were called to the scene at around 10:20pm following a report that approximately 5-6 horses were loose on the A14 at Sproughton and four vehicles had been involved in a collision with the horses.
A 23-year-old man, Thomas Allen from Soham was taken to Ipswich Hospital with life threatening injuries and died on Christmas Day.
Three horses also died as a result of the collision.
Police have spoken to a number of witnesses but are still keen to hear from anyone who has not yet come forward. They would like to hear from anyone who had seen the horses in the area or was driving along the road either prior to or hen the collision happened.

A 26-year-old Ipswich man arrested on suspicion of causing danger to road users has been bailed pending further enquiries and will return to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on February 28 2013.
