District council’s draft housing document on show at a public exhibition in Great Yeldham

Braintree District Council’s draft plan, which shows the potential sites for future housing development withing the district, go on show at Great Yeldham’s Reading Rooms next week.

The plan will be exhibited between 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, January 23, where members of the public will be able to view it and make any comments or observations.

The plan supports the strategic policies for housing and growth set out in the council’s core strategy.

It identifies the number of houses needed in the district by 2026 and looks at how and where they can be built.
