Two people arrested following a robbery in Haverhill on Monday (March 31) have been released.

The robbery happened in an alleyway off High Street between 2.30pm and 2.45pm.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was helped at the scene by members of the public and police would like to hear from these people who may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

A 25 year old woman from Haverhill and 38 year old man from Haverhill were arrested on suspicion of robbery on Monday (March 31) evening in relation to this and but were released yesterday (Tuesday, April 1) with no further action to be taken against them.

Witnesses to this robbery and the people who assisted the victim are asked to call Pc Chris Button at Bury St Edmunds on 101 quoting HH/14/600 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
