Two teenagers were approached by a man in a car who asked them to get in

Two men will appear at Ipswich Crown Court charged with committing a string of six burglaries in Haverhill.

The five burglary counts relate to incidents taking place between October 23 and December 19, 2013 at properties in Withersfield Road, Yerrill Gardens, Broadcroft Crescent, Fern Grove and Bishops Close.

The aggravated burglary charge relates to an offence in Withersfield Road on November 11, 2013, whereby the offenders were found to be in possession of a knife.

Joseph Tillett was also charged with two further offences occurring in January 2014, namely possession of cannabis and failing to attend a follow-up assessment for presence of a Class A drug.

Both men appeared initially at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates Court last Friday (Feb 21). No pleas were entered and they were both remanded in custody and ordered to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, March 4.
