Duxford teen hurt after collision with Sawston man in Pampisford

A teeager suffered severe head injuries after a serious collision in Pampisford on the A1301 on Monday (19).

A teeager suffered severe head injuries after a serious collision in Pampisford on the A1301 on Monday (November 19).

Police are now appealing for information about incident, which happened just after 4.30pm at the junction with London Road when a red moped and grey Volkswagen Golf collided.

The rider of the moped, a 17-year-old girl from Duxford, suffered serious injuries and is in a stable condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The driver of the car, a 50-year-old woman from Sawston, was not injured.

PC Ian Gray said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to the incident.”

Anyone with information should contact the roads policing unit on 101.
