An election for a Haverhill Town Councillor to fill the north ward seat will be held on October 10.
The new councillor will fill the seat vacated by the outgoing Bryan Hawes, who had quit the Conservative Party before going independent and then defecting to United Kingdom independence Party (UKIP) before leaving the council.
The north ward seat is the final vacancy on the council.
A notice of the forthcoming election is published today (Wednesday, September 4).
