A motorcyclist died following a road traffic collision on the Haverhill bypass, the A1017, yesterday afternoon (Sunday, December 8).
Paramedics from the East Anglian Air Ambulance and a volunteer doctor from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) were called just before 1.40pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision between a 4 by 4 vehicle towing a horsebox and a motorcycle.
As a result of the collision the motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his forties, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The road was closed by police whilst the vehicles were recovered and a collision investigation has begun.
