The first showhome at the Haverhill Research Park housing development will be unveiled today (Saturday, March 1).

The two-bedroom ‘Belford’ home at Taylor Wimpey’s ‘Arboretum’ development is among several styles of homes on offer on the site of the £100 million research park.

Caroline Carter, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our expert designers are busy putting the finishing touches to the beautiful showhome at The Arboretum and, although we’re keeping the exact details of what these gorgeous properties will look like under wraps until then, what I can say is that home-hunters are bound to be impressed.

“The new homes at The Arboretum are selling fast – in fact we’re already now selling properties which will be ready in 2015 – so anyone hoping to secure their dream home here is advised to come along and see us as soon as they can.”

There is a range of properties currently available to reserve at The Arboretum, including two-bed apartments from £143,995, the three-bed ‘Flatford’ terraced house from £214,995, and the three-bed ‘Easdale’ end-terrace from £231,995.

The Arboretum forms part of the 30-acre research park, which will have plenty of public open space, including woodland, play areas and public cyclepaths and footpaths. A family-friendly Marston’s pub/restaurant will also be opening.

House-hunters can be among the first to see the new showhome at The Arboretum by attending the launch on today (Saturday, March 1) from 10am until 5pm.

The development is located at Haverhill Research Park, off the A1307, CB9 7SW, and open daily from 10am until 5pm (Mondays 1.30pm to 5pm), while the sales executive can be contacted on 01440 840343.
