Menta, the Suffolk Enterprise Agency, continues it’s free monthly business club in the town next week with a talk by a Haverhill-based web developer.
This month the club will host Tom Veal, a Suffolk web developer who will be providing free guidance on establishing an effective and professional online presence.
Tom specialises in supporting small businesses with their web presence.
He said: “Searching the internet is the primary way new customers will locate and contact your business and your website provides these new customers with their first impression.
“I believe a great website is essential for small and medium businesses in order to attract new clients and to get ahead of local competition.”
Tom will be explaining the importance of a web presence, identifying types of websites, jargon busting and answering all attendees questions to help them progress in their business.
Phil Pethybridge, who hosts the Haverhill club, brought Tom in after identifying a need across Suffolk for better advice on developing websites.
“I’m very excited that Tom will be running these sessions.
“Developing a good web presence is so vital for a business and Tom will help those starting out understand what the best plan is for them.”
The club will meet from 12.30pm to 2pm on Thnursday, March 13 at the Menta Business Centre, 2 Hollands Road, Haverhill CB9 8PU.
Booking is not required.
