A gold Investors in People accreditation has been awarded to the NHS Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCGs).
The two CCGs are the only clinical commissioning groups in central and eastern England to be awarded Investors in People accreditation.
This award recognises a culture of staff engagement and leadership, which in turn means staff are equipped and able to deliver the very best level of health services to local people.
Investors in People (IiP) is the standard based on the principle that a happy and healthy workforce is an effective workforce.
Amanda Lyes, chief corporate services officer for both CCGs said: ”Delivering the best of healthcare to people in Suffolk can only be achieved by having a motivated staff which cares about its work.
“Both our CCGs are committed to ensuring that every member of staff is able and committed to delivering our vision of a long and healthy life for everyone in the county.
“Our CCGs are only one year old so it is particularly pleasing that so much has been achieved in such a short time. The fact that we are the only two CCGs in central and eastern England to have been awarded an IiP accreditation highlights just how hard everyone has worked to be the very best they can be.”
