Haverhill Leisure Centre Keep Active member Audrey Ramsden-Green has won an M&S hamper thanks after entering a raffle held by Premier Travel.

Audrey won the raffle which was held after a presentation to the Centre’s Keep Active members.

The Keep Active classes are a social, gentle and very popular aerobic programme designed for the over 50s, combining functional strength, flexibility and suppleness exercises.

There is also a badminton and short tennis session as part of this class and more than 100 people a week take part at the Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Afterwards there is free coffee and biscuits for the group served on the balcony where they can sit and talk.

Premier Travel was invited to tell members about their services during the regular after class coffee morning.

Audrey, from Roman Way in Haverhill, said: “I’m very happy to have won the hamper.

“I have just returned from holiday so it was a real surprise and now our kitchen cupboards will be stocked up. “I’m sure my husband will help me eat the hamper goodies.”

She received the hamper from Premier Travel’s assistant manager, Gemma Evans.
