A Haverhill specialist in document management is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Doxbond, on the Civic Industrial Estate in Homefield Road, began as a franchise in 1992 but quickly became an independent family business run by Peter Allan.
His son David is now co-owner and director, and after initially being based from an office near Newmarket and units in Cambridge the firm moved to Haverhill in 2006.
Doxbond provides document management services, including collection, secure storage file retrieval, taking records and boxes back to clients whenever they need them.
Files are delivered for free to customers in Haverhill.
The company also provides an increasingly popular confidential waste service, collecting and securely disposing of papers.
Mr Allan said: “The move to the town has been great for our company.
“The location is excellent for us as we can cover Cambs, Suffolk, North Essex and Herts very easily from here.
“We would love to do even more work in the local area and look forward to the town moving forward with ventures such as the Haverhill Research Park.
“We are working on offering other services such as digital document management solutions and believe that can work very well in years to come alongside our current offerings.”
