A car dealership in Haverhill is challenging residents to find stickers of its latest model hidden throughout the town to raise cash for Comic Relief.
Drive Vauxhall in Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds is joining in the Red Nose Day fun by launching the ‘Where’s ADAM?’ campaign to celebrate the launch of the manufacturer’s new car, the ADAM, while raising money for Comic Relief.
Throughout the week leading up to Red Nose Day (beginning today, Friday, March 8), large Vauxhall ADAM stickers will be hiding around the two town centres waiting to be discovered.
The ADAM campaign is encouraging the local community to get involved and raise money for the cause by taking a snap with one of these ADAM stickers.
Anyone taking a photograph of themselves with the ADAM stickers should send their image to sarahferrari@drivevauxhall.co.uk, and the dealership will donate £1 to Comic Relief for every one received.
These images will then get uploaded to the Drive Bury St Edmunds Facebook page for people to ‘like’ and share with friends.
Sarah Ferrari, market area general manager at Drive Vauxhall, said: “At Drive Vauxhall we are committed to supporting charities and it gives us great pleasure to try and raise as much money as we can for such a worthwhile cause.
“Comic Relief makes a huge difference to the people it supports and we are passionate about being a part of that.
“We would like urge people around Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds to get involved and embrace the Red Nose Day spirit.
“The more photographs we receive, the more money we will donate, so we hope to motivate people to get out and about this week and help contribute towards Red Nose Day.”
This star of this creative campaign is Vauxhall’s first urban-chic city car, the ADAM. The stylish, three-door, four-seater model is keenly positioned to take the fashion-led A-sector by storm; with over a million specification and trim combinations, the new urban-chic model is all about personalisation.
Following its official debut at the Paris Motor Show, the ADAM is available to order from the dealer’s branches in Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds now. Prices range from £11,255 to £14,295.
Customers have a choice of three trims – JAM (fashionable /colourful), GLAM (elegant/sophisticated) and SLAM (racy/sporty) – as well as 20 different wheel designs, over a dozen interior shades and 12 different body colours, some of which are unique to ADAM.
Plus, with colour names like ‘Papa don’t Peach’, ‘James Blonde’, ‘I’ll be Black’ and ‘Men in Brown’, owners will have no trouble remembering their final choice.
ADAM is initially offered with three petrol engines (1.2-litre 70PS, 1.4-litre 87PS and 1.4-litre 100PS), all of which are available with Start/Stop technology.
