Haverhill charity workers are back home safe and sound

Volunteers from Haverhill-based charity, Focus on Africa, have contacted the Echo today to thank us for front page coverage of the drama in Kenya when they witnessed a tragedy.

The team returned home safely to Suffolk and Cambridgeshire this week.

They had been working at a school in Kisumu, Kenya, when the building next door to their hotel suddenly collapsed, killing seven people.
