Two Haverhill members of the Pink Panther cheerleading squad claimed five top three finishes between them at the International Cheerleading Coalition competition in Guildford earlier this month.

Brianna Digby, 12, came second in both the Junior Stunt team and the Junior Hip Hop solo and third in the Senior Pom, a position she shared with Amber Helbert, 14.

Amber also won the Junior Jazz Solo competition during the event, which saw the Panther’s 26-strong squad come away with 17 trophies.

The Pink Panthers are based at the Jigsaw Dance studio in Stretham, which also holds street dance classes every Tuesday from 4.30pm to 6pm at Haverhill Leisure Centre. For details call 08444458010.
