An anti dog fouling campaign that the Echo had hoped to launch today (May 15) has had to be put back to a later date.
The Echo is working closely with students at Samuel Ward Academy but because they are currently in the midst of their exams period the campaign has had to be postponed.
The campaign was sparked by a letter sent to Cllr Mark Bee, the leader of Suffolk County Council, by year eight students Casey Gray, Charlotte Lawes, Georgia Kenyon and Lisa Lukavsky.
In the letter they suggested ways in which more could be done in Haverhill to address the problem of dog fouling.
That letter then became the catalyst for the campaign. A new launch date will be decided in due course.
