Haverhill Family History Group’s next meeting

The next event being held by the Haverhill Family History Group takes place at the Old Independent Church in Hamlet Road at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 14.

The speaker will be well-known genealogical expert and author Ian Waller, whose talk entitled ‘Up With The Lark’ will detail the lives and available records for agricultural labourers, something relevant to many in the west Suffolk area.

The talk should provide a helpful guide to resources that may help get over obstacles in our research.

Newcomers are always welcome. To find out more call Alan on 01440 704157 or Judith on 01440 761653.

The group’s next day trip is to the Greenwich Maritime & Royal Artillery Museum/London Metropolitan Archives on Tuesday, April 9. Call Alan to reserve a place.
