Brothers Brett and Brad Butler have seen their flooring business do so well that they have progressed from a once-weekly market stall to having their own shop in Haverhill.
The Haverhill siblings have opened BB Flooring in the building in Station Road formerly occupied by Morris Armitage Estate Agents.
The move shows how far the business has come since 23-year-old Brett, who has been a fitting flooring since he was 16, began running a stall on Haverhill’s Saturday market one year ago.
Not only that, but Brad, 25, also gave up his job as a plumber to join his brother in the business.
BB Flooring serves both the business and domestic market working with carpet, vinyl, luxury vinyl and laminate flooring. They also do contract work.
Family friend Shelly Montgomery, who works part-time in the shop, said: “We just want to say how helpful so many people in the town have been.
“All people do is moan about how the town has nothing and how there’s hardly any shops and it just goes to show how two young lads have been able to get the business up and running from just running it on a market stall.”
BB Flooring is currently offering a five per cent discount to pensioners if they buy from the shop on a Wednesday.
