Haverhill pamper evening
Slimming World Newcroft Haverhill is hosting its first Wear Share pamper and shop evening on Friday, March 8 in Chalkstone Way from 6-10pm.
The event will be raising money for Team Super Walkers, a group of Slimming World members and friends from Haverhill and Saffron Walden, who are doing the London Moonwalk on May 11. They will be wearing decorated bras on the 26.2 mile walk to raise money to combat breast cancer. Also, as part of Slimming World’s Slim for Good campaign, the group will be raising money on March 8 with a giant tombolo with all proceeds for its chosen charity, First responders.
One of the Haverhill Slimming World group’s members, Maria Fitzpatrick is traing to become a First responder, which is a voluntary role.
During the pamper evening, local businesses will have stalls selling pamper hampers, cup cakes, get a tan, nails treatments, handbags, Bodyshop goodies, children’s books, cards and much more.
There will be a bar and entry is free.
There will also be an opportunity to sell a pre-loved garment on a 50/50 basis. Bring it along between 4-5pm on March 8, labelled with your name and asking price, and it will be displayed.
