Haverhill runner Jack Tappin goes to Hell

Hell in the Middle 2013

Haverhill runner Jack Tappin represented the town running club in an eight mile endurance event on Saturday (February 9).

He completed the Hell in the Middle race – part of the Hell Runner series – held in Trentham Gardens in Stoke on Trent in one hours 41 minutes and 33 seconds.

The route consisted of scaling and descending numerous hills, wading through neck deep mud and water and cross country running.

He ran alongside Ewelina Stachowiak and Steven Cockburn, both from Winsford, Cheshire, who finished in one hour 41 minutes 36 seconds and one hour 55 minutes respectively.
