Pupils from primary schools all over Haverhill gathered at Castle Manor Academy last Wednesday (16) for the Haverhill Primary Basketball Competition.

It was a huge success with more than 100 people attending including competitors, parents, staff and student leaders.

Pupils from Burton End, Clements, Coupals, Hundon, Place Farm and St Felix schools took part in the competition, organised by student leaders from Castle Manor.

It was close and a high standard of play was on show. In the end it came down to a tense a final between St Felix and Hundon, with St Felix winning the final game 6-0 and returning to school victorious.
