Huge jewellery haul taken in Suffolk burglary

Police are issuing a witness appeal after a property was broken into in Suffolk.

The incident happened sometime between 7.10am and 2.15pm on Thursday, January 3 at an address in Drift Road, Lakenheath.

The property was broken into, searched and a large quantity of jewellery including a necklace and bracelet with a pink and gold elephant head on, assortment of approximately twenty bracelets and approximately 20 pairs of gold earrings.

If you noticed any suspicious activity in the area or have been offered jewellery for sale you are asked to call DC Michael Gwyn at Suffolk Police on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
