Imperial War Museum (IWM) Duxford has today (Thursday, January 9) reopened following it’s closure due to storm damage.
The former RAF Duxford base had been closed since before the weekend due to buildings being damaged by the high winds, with museum chiefs originally expecting it to reopen on Monday (January 6).
However, that was then revised to opening as soon as repairs were completed.
A museum spokesman said: “IWM Duxford is now fully open to the public, including all exhibition spaces.
“Damage to buildings, caused by the recent high winds, has now been made safe.
“We appreciate your patience and support during our temporary closure.”
