HAVERHILL Round Table raised more than £3,000 for Haverhill people in need over Christmas.
The Round Table's Christmas sleigh was out in force in the town during evenings and on the High Street on Saturday's
Sadie Miller and her friends at Westbourne Court donated 250 from their raffle winnings this year towards the Round Table's final total of 3,313.19.
n THIEVES stole a sat nav from a red Vauxhall Meriva, parked in Chauntry Road, Haverhill, at around 12.25am on Thursday.
A window was broken to get into the car.
n A YELLOW Atlas compressor was stolen from a building site, in Chalkstone Way, Haverhill, after thieves cut through a fence to gain access to the site.
The theft took place between 5pm on Friday, January 9, and 7am on Monday, January 12.
n A FENCE was cut on a building site in York Road, Haverhill, between 4.30pm and 4.55pm on Monday, January 12.
The padlocks of two containers were cut, but nothing was stolen.
n METAL thieves failed in their attempt to steal copper cabling from underneath a manhole cover in Old Haverhill Road, Little Wratting, on January 12.
n AN Ifor Williams twin-axle trailer was stolen from outside a house in Wickhambrook between 12pm on January 13 and 3.55pm on January 15.
It had been left secured and a witness saw a blue Volvo estate car leave the area at high speed.
