Ipswich Town FC is holding a family fun day when Bournemouth visit on Bank Holiday, Monday, April 21, with 1,650 tickets for the match available for FREE for U16s.
Blues take on Play-Off rivals the Cherries in a crucial clash at Portman Road as Town look to take another step towards the Premier League and the East of England Co-op are playing their part in getting behind the Club and joining the fun, by putting up 1500 free tickets for junior home fans to watch the action.
The tickets for U16s, which are for the family areas, are only available at Planet Blue. They are limited to five per customer number.
The East of England Co-op have also made 150 tickets available to U16 Bournemouth fans.
“The East of England Co-op is delighted to be supporting the Ipswich Town Fun Day with free tickets for children and some goodies.
“This gives a great opportunity for families to spend fun time together at a premier event,” said Roger Grosvenor, executive officer retail at the East of England Co-op.
“I am delighted that we have been able to work with the East of England Co-op to help make this a great family matchday,” added Town’s director of sales, Rosie Richardson.
Prices in the family areas of the stadium are at a discounted rate for the game, at £20 for adults; £15 for concessions – including seniors, students, U20s and £3.00 for juniors.
The family fun day starts at 11am, with supporters accessing the event via Gate 1A. The activities include human football table; penalty shoot out; Seaworld Castle; Amazon Castle; inflatable assault course; rodeo/surf bull; Namco Funscape and big calorie shoot out.
There will also be face painters to provide some colour to every Blues’ face, with Nando’s, Hadley’s ice cream, popcorn and so much more available to keep that hunger at bay.
The East of England Co-op will also be handing out hundreds of Cadbury’s Creme Eggs, as well as Goodness Gang toys – with two of the characters from Goodness Gang, Alex Apple and Max Mushroom making a guest appearance at Portman Road. Woody Bear from Pleasurewood Hills will also be in attendance.
The fun day will be held on the FieldTurf and be available to all fans between 11am and 1pm.
From 1pm onwards, supporters who have tickets for the East of England Co-op Stand only will have access to the Fieldturf. Read more at http://www.itfc.co.uk/news/article/fun-day-v-bournemouth-1488696.aspx#cYTGcxSQQfVQyxkK.99
