In little over a week you could be taking up the charity challenge of running a mile for Sport Relief.
The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Haverhill has been organised by the town’s running club next Sunday (March 23) at Castle Manor Academy, whose staff and students are also helping with the organisation.
Many have already signed up to run one, three, or six miles.
Nick Kirkham, from Haverhill Running Club, said: “We are delighted that so many people have already signed up but we want even more people from Haverhill to take part and make it the best Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile yet.
“So sign up, join in and let’s raise as much money as we possibly can for this incredible cause.”
Andrew Barrat, from Castle Manor Academy, added: “We have a huge amount of staff and students waiting to run, walk, entertain or help make the event run smoothly.
“It looks set to be another excellent event at Castle Manor Academy bringing the academy closer to the community.”

Over 500 venues across the UK are hosting events for Sports Relief, with details at sportrelief.com.
Next Friday (March 21) the BBC will be putting on a special night of television for the charitable initiative, including a special Only Fools and Horses Sport Relief sketch.
