Students used their ingenuity to come up with some wacky ideas to travel to a Linton Village College ball on Friday night.

Vintage cars, a camper van, sports cars, mobility scooters, a horse-drawn carriage, bikes, a rickshaw and even a combine harvester drew a large crowd of onlookers.

Students, celebrating the end of their GCSE exams and five years at the college, looked glamorous as they arrived to a red carpet reception. “The atmosphere was wonderful, students looked gorgeous and they were a credit to their year group,” said Denise Hall, deputy principal.
