A lorry driver was injured in an accident involving three vehicles just outside Linton this morning (August 12).
Two lorries and a Toyota Corolla car were involved in the accident which blocked both lanes of the A1307.
The accident took place at 6.40am.
One fire crew from Linton and one crew and rescue vehicle from Cambridge were called to the scene, as well as an ambulance and police.
One of the lorry drivers was trapped inside their vehicle and firefighters had to use specialist cutting equipment to release them.
The southbound carriageway reopened at about 7.46am but the northbound side remained closed well into the rush hour.
