A man was struck on the leg after a trio of men forced their way into his house following an argument on Facebook.

A man was struck on the leg after a trio of men forced their way into his house following an argument on Facebook.

The affray happened at 7.20pm last Friday (January 3), with three men going to the home in Cavendish Court, Haverhill, armed with armed with metal bars.

The man inside was threatened and would not come out, so the trio bashed through the door and the resident was struck on the leg by what is described as a crowbar.

Three men aged 14, 26 and 39, all from Haverhill, have been arrested and bailed until January 22.
