Matthew Hancock, MP for West Suffolk, is to hold his second supermarket surgery, and the first in Haverhill, in the Cangle Road Tesco store between 5.30 and 6.30pm, on Friday.
Mr Hancock will be in the Haverhill store ready to listen to any issues that people are concerned about. In Brandon at a similar event people raised everything from local transport to education.
Mr Hancock said: “It’s vital for me to do my job as Haverhill’s MP to hear from my constituents directly.
“Normal surgeries are important for getting into details with one person, but lots of people might not even think to contact their MP.
“Holding surgeries in supermarkets, where everyone is welcome to bring up any issue, is I hope a good way to meet people who I might not otherwise get a chance to and listen to their concerns.
“I will always do what I can to help so I hope anyone doing their shopping in Haverhill this Friday evening will drop by, whether to ask a question, for help with an issue or for a chat.”
