The libraries in Haverhill and Clare will both be streaming a live broadcast of author Michael Rosen reading his famous book, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, from 10am on Tuesday, July 15.

Walker Books and Read for RNIB are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the book while at the same time trying to create a Guinness World Record for the largest reading lesson and raise money for the RNIB.

The readings being streamed to the libraries in Clare and Haverhill will coincide with the weekly meetings of their respective Bookstart rhyme sessions and will be followed by a Bear Hunt at Haverhill and a Bear Hunt display in the children’s area at Clare.

Children are invited to take their teddy bear along and to wear special ‘bear ears’ supplied for the event.
