A new micro brewery is being launched on Saturday (October 5) at the Three Horseshoes pub in Helions Bumpstead.
Called the Dropping Well Brewery it is the creation of the pub’s landlord Jack Jennings and villager Phil Snowdon, who is also a brewer. It is located adjacent to the pub in a converted outbuilding.
It will be open to visitors on Saturday and a selection of its first four ales will be available for tasting in the brewery from 11.30 am onwards.
Free light refreshments will be provided and should anyone want to try a pint of one of the batch of cask-conditioned ales they can do so inside the pub.
