The first of four public consultation events that will allow the people of Clare the chance to share their views on the future of Clare Castle Country Park takes place tonight (Thursday) at the town hall from 4pm to 8pm.
Visitors to the event will be able to glean more details of what is included in Suffolk County Council’s £225,000 offer to Clare Town Council to take over the future management of the park.
The county council wants to hand over the responsibility for the park to the town council.
Two more similar public events will take place at the same venue between 4pm and 8pm tomorrow night (Aug 1) and 2pm to 5pm on Saturday (Aug 2).
After the three drop in events there will also be a public meeting on Thursday, August at 7pm also in the town hall.
