Haverhill town centre will have another vacant shop front as Morley’s, which has been in the town for more than half a century, is set to close.
A statement on the Queen Street shop’s Facebook page said: “Morley’s are sorry to announce that our shop in Haverhill is to close shortly.
“After 50 years of trading in the town, the directors are retiring and we will be starting a closing down sales on Monday (January 27) with a minimum of 20 per cent off all stock.
“Thank you very much for all your support in the past, we will miss you all.”
Many people expressed their shock and disappointment that the town centre stalwart was set to go.
