The joys of reading are now being more keenly felt by children at Happy Days Childcare in Stradishall after the completion of a new library area.
The youngsters at the Lancaster Way nursery now use the area to sit quietly to look at books, both fiction and non-fiction, and have the chance to take books home to share with their family.
All books have got library cards, giving the children experience of how a library works.
Happy Days owner, Caroline Priestley, said: “Sharing books is an enjoyable time to spend with your children, it helps with their language, imagination and building relationships with their peers.
“This a an important part of ECAT (Every Child is a Talker) which will help with your child’s learning and is supported by Suffolk County Council.”
