Menta, the Suffolk Enterprise Agency has announced the launch of a new Menta Business Club at its centre in Haverhill.
The first monthly club meets at 12.30pm tomorrow (Thursday, Sept 12) at the Menta Business Centre in Hollands Road and will offer advice and help for people considering setting up a small business.
Alex Till, Menta chief executive says: “Our aim is to support and encourage people to start their own business and become their own boss.
“The Menta Business Club is free to attend and is a great opportunity for people to learn the tools of modern business to enable them to put their ideas into practice.”
The club will cover business subjects including business planning, marketing, social media, and finance, web sites and media relations.
Phil Pethybridge, who will host the club on behalf of Menta commented: “I regularly meet people with great ideas but they are just not sure how to start the journey of making it a reality.
“The Menta Business Club is designed to support great ideas and get people going on their journeys.
“There are no business egos or attitudes, just honest support and guidance.
“They can come to the sessions and chat with me and I will tell them what’s great about the idea and what to do next and who to speak to.”
The club meets for one and a half hours and booking is not required.
