A female pedestrian has died after she was in collision with a car in Wickhambrook last night (Wednesday, October 9).
The emergency services, including two volunteer doctors and one volunteers paramedic from SARS, were called to Emily Frost Close at about 7.20pm after receiving reports that the woman had been hit by a car.
The pedestrian, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver of the car was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds with minor head injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
