Haverhill Rovers' clash with Ridgeons Premier leaders Wroxham peter betts

Haverhill Rovers are searching for a new manager following Peter Betts’ resignation.

Rovers now play at an excellent new facility in the New Croft with a great infrastructure in place for the potential new manager to work within.

Betts took the club from finishing bottom of the Ridgeons Premier League to establishing them as a mid-table outfit with title aspirations.

He has also taken them to the Cambridgeshire Invitation Cup final and the Suffolk Cup semi final, although Rovers have often fallen short in the league with mid season slumps and have failed to impress in either the FA Cup or FA Vase.

His shrewd signings have seen the likes of now crucial first XI players striker Dan Cornwell and left back Greg Strong added to the side, as well as the development of Haverhill Sports Association to provide more depth.

Rovers require all applicants to have had previous experience at step four, five or six.

Anyone interested in the positions can send their CV via post to The New Croft, Chalkstone Way, Haverhill, Suffolk, CB9 0BW or e-mail to mike.tokley@hotmail.co.uk or Alastair.Shulver@matthey.com.

Interviews will take place the week commencing the December 3.

In the interim Betts will carry on in his position until a suitable replacement is recruited.
