Singer Hatty Keane meets students during her visit to Stour Valley Community School

Up and coming singing star Hatty Keane performed at Stour Valley Community School, in Clare last week.

She sang a mix of songs along with an anti-drugs and life skills message based on the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) programme to year nine and ten students

Hatty, 19, has supported the likes of Anastacia, JLS and Olly Murs and performed at Prince Harry’s Wellchild Awards.

Cath Bank, deputy headteacher, said: “This is a great opportunity for our young people to be able to hear positive life messages from someone within their age group who is being successful.

“This is the type of special event which students remember throughout their school lives.”
