West Suffolk College is hosting taster days for anyone interested in signing up to the next Prince’s Trust Team programme.
The course starts in January and is an intensive 12 week personal development programme for young people aged between 16 and 25, helping them to develop and improve in areas such as confidence, motivation, leadership, communication and team work.
Taster days will be held at the college on Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1, with an induction during week commencing Tuesday, May 6.
The 12 week programme includes a residential activity week period, a team challenge and a community project in which they choose, plan and complete a project beneficial to their local community.
Previous projects have included painting and decorating, renovating a woodland area and constructing a music area for a local school.
On average, past teams have raised between £250 and £300 to spend on equipment and materials for the project.
