A Christmas Fayre, such as this one pictured, proved a great success when it was held at Ridgewell Village Hall.

The Christmas Fayre held in Ridgewell Village Hall on Saturday, December 7 raised at least £600 for the Village Hall Improvement Fund.

The fayre was the sixth to be organised by Ridgewell History Society and, according of one of the organisers, Michaela Cottee, had more stalls and more visitors than ever before.

The hall was built in 1953 and is in need of modernisation and repair.
