Crash between Haverhill and Withersfield

The road between Haverhill and Withersfield was closed for more than seven hours after a car hit a telegraph pole, causing it to collapse into the road on Friday (March 15).

Police were called at 11.11am and the road was promptly closed from after the Haverhill roundabout to the village entrance, with the crash before the village sign.

The road was reopened at 6.36pm.

The one person involved in the crash was unhurt.
