Road from Haverhill to Withersfield closed after accident

The road between Withersfield and the roundabout at the end of the A1307 to Haverhill is currently closed after a telegraph pole came down across the highway.

The pole lay across the road after a grey car was in collision with it earlier today (Friday, March 15).

Nobody is believed to have been hurt in the accident, the aftermath of which was captured on camera by Echo reporter Jack Tappin.
