Sheds forced open in Hundon

Police are appealing for information after two sheds were broken into in Hundon.

Officers were called to a property in Vally Wash, where the householder had discovered his shed had been forced open between 10.30pm on Wednesday 13 February and 8am on Thursday 14 February.

Subsequent house-to-house enquiries led to another property in the road discovering that their shed had also been burgled. In both cases the sheds were secure and the locks had been forced.

Both sheds had chainsaws stolen from them and also other equipment including a strimmer.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact PC Laura Harris at Haverhill police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
