sign2sing world record attempt by Haverhill and Kedington schools

Students from primary schools in and around Haverhill joined those across the country yesterday (Wednesday, February 6) in an attempt to set a new world record for the number of people signing and singing a song simultaneously.

Burton End and Place Farm primary schools in Haverhill and Kedington Primary School were among those taking part in the national sign2sing challenge.

Last year’s attempt saw 114,277 children taking part, smashing the previous world record, also set by SignHealth, of 94,489.

The event raises money for SignHealth through a suggested £1 donation of all participants, with the charity aiding deaf people.
