Sport Relief mile to return to Haverhill

Haverhill Running Club and Castle Manor are putting on the Sports Relief mile next month.

Haverhill Running Club and Castle Manor are putting on the Sports Relief mile next month.

Haverhill will host a charity fun run next month at Castle Manor Academy.

The Sport Relief Mile will take place at the school on March 23, with three and six mile events available in addition to the one mile.

Nick Kirkham, from Haverhill Running Club, said: “This is the second time we have had this as we did it in 2012 too when the run was outside the sports centre and down the railway line.

“Haverhill Running Club is organising it as the guys at Sport Relief came back asking us to so we’re doing it in partnership with Castle Manor, whose students will be helping.

“It was well received last time with lots of parents and kids enjoying being able to run at a more fun event.”
