Fifty five per cent of students at St Benedicts School in Bury St Edmunds achieved five A* to C grades at GCSE.
The average points score per candidate was 490- a school record, beating the previous best ever year of 2011 by 12 points.
There were some truly outstanding performances – the following 11 students achieved 13 GCSE passes, at least 11 of them at A* or A – Toby Alfred-Jones, Phoebe Allsop, Josh Bryan, Ellie Coleman, Darcie Cowap, Hannah Dance, Josh Grover, Toby Horkan, Elizabeth Jessop, Evie Marlow, Gabriela Monteiro, and Molly O’Donnell
The record this year goes to Josh Bryan, who achieved 11 A*s and two As.
