Some strange and curious sights awaited shoppers and passers by in Haverhill town centre last Saturday (July 5) as the Haverhill Street Festival took place.
The odd array of visitors included the likes of an escapologist, an Edwardian nanny with cheeky twin babies yet to master the art of civility and Bang On! a junk percussion duo who make music from the most unlikely objects.
There was also be a team of spectacular silver skaters scooting around; the amusing, amazing, and sometimes eye-watering antics of acrobat AJ James and Bridie an 8 foot tall Irish tea-lady who is obsessed with crooner Dean Martin.
The cast of street performers was laid on for free by Haverhill Town Council as part of the Haverhill Festival, which is currently ongoing.
