But after hearing submissions from the Crown Prosecution Service, Judge John Devaux said he was not prepared to grant Hockett bail and he would remain remanded in custody.
Hockett, of Elmdon Place is charged with burglary at an address in Beaumont Vale, Haverhill between Tuesday 20 and Friday, August 23.
A plea and case management hearing for Hockett is due to take place on November 29.
